





It takes a real commitment to finish this totally incredible hike. The Manitou Incline ascends over 2,000 feet (610 m) of elevation in less than one mile. Be warned, it is not for the faint of heart or those lacking in intestinal fortitude. We did it in 2 hours and 45 minutes to the top. This is not a world record by any count but a personal best for me that I am very proud of.
I’ll let the images speak for themselves. The last two were taken on the way down, from the Barr Trail. The incline is a recommended one way trip, up only, you descend a different trail, the Barr Trail.
